Celebrate Tudor festival with Dr Foyle

TV historian and writer, Dr Jonathan Foyle will be giving an illustrated talk about ‘The forgotten origins of the Tudor rose’ as part of this year’s Katharine of Aragon Festival in Peterborough.

This annual event, which honours Katharine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry VIII, who was buried at Peterborough Cathedral on January 29, 1536, will be running from Thursday, next week through to the weekend.

Schoolchildren, families and history enthusiasts are all invited to enjoy the festival events being hosted at Peterborough Cathedral and Peterborough Museum.

Dr Foyle, will give a talk as part of the festival on Friday, January 29 in Peterborough Cathedral at 7.30pm.
