Stamford AFC has secured a sponsorship deal with skip firm Mick George Ltd.
The company, which also sponsors Peterborough United and Cambridge United, has extended its coverage to include the Daniels.
Last season the club moved from Wothorpe Road, where they played for 118 years, to the new facilities at the new Zeeco Stadium where all home fixtures are played for the respective senior first and youth teams.
Club commercial manager Paul Pepper said: “With a new stadium brings magnificent new opportunities to get involved and support Stamford AFC. I’ve been busy throughout the close season securing numerous sponsorship deals that will help the club evolve, enabling the first team to meet expectations and establish itself as the area’s premier football club.”
“Not only will the first team use these excellent facilities, but our Young Daniels will also benefit from them, hopefully one day emulating playing for the senior team. These partnerships also allow the community the opportunity to use this complex for their own sporting and non sporting activities.”
Mick George finance director Jon Stump added: “We have been fortunate to forge partnerships alongside some wonderful sports clubs particularly in the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire region. This is our first within Lincolnshire but epitomises the growth and ambition of the company as a whole.
“We approach these partnerships with the genuine feeling that we can really make a difference with the attributes we bring to the table. Their has been much speculation within the media of late at the apparent lack of talent coming through at grass roots level, but at Stamford AFC their appears to be a commitment to the respective senior first and youth teams, and we welcome the opportunity to support that development process where ever feasible.”
