Bourne increased their lead at the top of the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League to 30 points with victory over Louth.

Jack Berry claimed eight wickets for Bourne as Louth were bowled out for 210 before Pete Morgan hit 91 and Carl Wilson an unbeaten 65 to take the leaders to a five wicket victory.

Elsewhere in the league, Billingborough’s bowlers once again mounted a strong attack to restrict second-placed Bracebridge Heath to two batting points.

At Billingborough, having reduced their guests to 19 for three, the home side continued to bowl economically.

Vikram Atri’s 52, assisted by a late knock of 37 from Matt Carter took the final total of 157 for nine, Nathan Mill bowling 13 overs with seven maidens and taking one for 21 while wicketkeeper Andy Scott held five catches.

Scott was then out for 18, leaving Billingborough 25 for three and from here, the onslaught by Brett McGlade, who took six for 12 and Brett Houston (4-16) was too much for the home batsmen who were all out for 32.

Lindum defeated Market Deeping, whose Mehul Adatia took five wickets for 38.

Deeping were left chasing 199 and got off to a better start, reaching 82 for two.

However, the Deepings innings then collapsed to 119 all out.
