Bourne pull away from Deeping in Lincs Premier Division

Bourne strengthened their grip on the Lincs Premier Division title with a six-wicket win at Woodhall Spa yesterday (June 12).

Unbeaten Bourne made light work of their hosts’ 203-9 to move further clear of the top as Market Deeping, who started the day in second place, were crushed at home to Skegness by 170 runs.

Tom Dixon (5-54) was Bourne’s best bowler, while Ben Stroud (75) dominated their batting effort.

Skegness piled up 295-6 in their 50 overs at Outgant Road before dismissing their hosts for just 125.
