Reigning Rutland Division One champions Bourne were beaten for the first time this season after a high-scoring game with Peterborough Town at the Abbey Lawns.
Town won by 14 runs on a day when 526 runs were scored in 90 overs. Ben Stroud cracked an undefeated 112 in a losing cause for Bourne.
Alex Mitchell (93), Marcus Howard (58) and David Clarke (56) all scored well for Town who piled up 270-5 in their 45 overs. Bourne looked on course for the win while openers Stroud and Rob Bentley (49) were adding 130 for the first wicket, but the home side fell away towards the end.
Oundle were surprisingly beaten by three wickets at home to Market Overton, while March lost a high-scoring clash at Eaton Socon for whom Johnny Carpenter smacked 154 not out and Peterborough Town fast bowler Joe Dawborn squirted 68 in a team total of 289-5.
March chased hard though and skipper Ben Pyle cracked an unbeaten 104 in their total of 250. David Hodson added 53.
