Eight days after their first away win, Bourne Town claimed a first home victory of the league campaign.

The prolific Jezz Goldson-Williams took his season’s total to nine, making the UCL Division One top goal scorer, by beating the keeper after 20 and 58 minutes, the second after clever footwork.

Potton rarely posed an attacking threat until Roberto D’Allilia was introduced as a substitute, the woodwork denying him on a couple of occasions.

Reserve hot-shot Ashley Wilson celebrated his senior call-up with the 86th-minute third which sealed the win.

Bourne manager Raffa Mazzarella said on Twitter after the match: “Good win today but important not to get ahead of ourselves.”

Bourne are in action tomorrow when they host neighbours Deeping Rangers in the Lincs Cup. Kick off 7.45pm.

Bourne: Fagan, Elger, D Wilson, Botterill, Spearink, Jesson, Bull, S Wilson, Goldson-Williams (Walklin), Dunn (A Wilson), De Sousa (Burrell).
