The Daniels made it five games unbeaten on Saturday with an dominant 2-0 win over struggling Stafford Rangers.
Stamford kept the pressure on their mid-table rivals with an impressive performance at home to relegation-threatened Rangers.
The Daniels currently sit in 17th position in the Evo-Stik Premier but a win in the first of their three back-to-back away games could potentially take them up to 14th.
Stamford face Nantwich Town, who currently sit in 14th position, tomorrow night before away trips to Whitby Town and Witton Albion.
On Saturday Shawn Richards gave the Daniels a deserved lead at the Vic Couzens stadium with a headed goal late in the first half goal.
Nabil Shariff, who had gone close himself earlier in the half, sparked the move from the half way line before debutante Matt Cotton swung in a cross for Richards to fire in.
Man-of-the-match Alvin Jarvis made the result certain with his side’s second goal in the 62nd minute.
Stamford keeper Will Jones was untroubled for much of the encounter but was on his game when needed, pulling off a double save late in the day to secure the victory.
