Bourne Abbey recently participated in the ‘National Road Safety Week’ which focused on looking out for each other.

Our Year 6 road safety officers have been doing lots to help the children understand how to stay safe near the roads and on their bikes/scooters. Joshua and Amy invited the local PCSO’s into our school assembly to encourage children to ‘be bright be seen’ and stay safe. We learnt about crossings, when it is safe to cross and how to make ourselves be seen during winter nights. Amy and Joshua are running a competition on who could design the brightest high visibility jacket, with the winners being announced in January.
