The Stamford and Peterborough fundraising group of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People collected a cheque for more than £2,500 from Byre Vets in Werrington on Tuesday.
Staff from the practice raised the money by taking part in a parachute jump and have so far raised more than £3,500.
The kind donation means that the group has been able to bank nearly £20,000 between May 2013 and now. Most of the funds have been raised by the group holding street collections, raffles, tombola and fish and quiz nights.
John Lewis in Peterborough also donated £1,000 from its green token collection.
Rosemary Bristow, from the group, said: “We are very grateful to members of the public, Byre Vets, John Lewis, Elliotts, local stores and hostelries for their continued support by allowing our puppies in to their premises, plus fundraising for and with us.”
