Traditional fun for families during the Christmas holidays

There’s a wide choice of traditional family entertainment on offer over the Christmas and New Year period.

Pantomimes based on classic fairytales, ballets and interactive children’s shows will be performed at venues across the local area and beyond to delight children and adults of all ages.

The Magic Porridge Pot and Other Tales by Theatre Widdershins can be seen at Stamford Arts Centre at 2.30pm on Saturday, December 20. Tickets are £7.50 (£6.50) or £26 for a family of two adults and two children.

Also at Stamford Arts Centre is Aladdin by Polka Dot Theatre. Performance times are: 10.30am and 6.30pm Thursday, January 8; 10.30am and 6.30pm Friday, January 9; 10.30am; 1.30pm; 4.30pm and 7.30pm Saturday, January 10; 10.30am; 1.30pm and 4.30pm Sunday, January 11.
