Hundreds of firms set to flock to Spalding Business Focus Show
Hundreds of business people are expected to flock to the Spalding Business Focus Show.
An array of speakers, trainers, mentors, networking and business service experts have been lined up to provide tips and inspiration on getting the most out of a business.
The show will be held at the Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding on Thursday, from 9am to 4pm, and is sponsored by regional accountants Duncan & Toplis.
It has been organised by Pink Sheep Events, which is run by husband and wife team Shaun and Vicky Lord.
The event will be hosted by professional TV presenter Ben Murray and will feature 21 speaker sessions, networking, an implementation tent, and a line-up of exhibitors.
Vicky said: “Running your own business can be so rewarding, but also overwhelming, challenging and uncertain.
We created our Business Focus Shows to offer support, knowledge and advice.
“With this in mind, we created our Business Focus Shows to offer support, knowledge and advice, but also, more importantly, to help business people stay on track, keep motivated and surround themselves with like-minded people.
“I’m hopeful for hundreds of business owners to attend.”
Shaun added: “We really have pulled out all the stops to create an amazing B2B event to support and inspire the region’s business community and it’s all set to an amazing day.”
Vicky and Shaun, who live in Spalding, started in business five years ago.
Vicky said: “After a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, we have beaten the odds and have grown an impressive Fairytale Wedding Show portfolio to include some of the most prestigious venues across the region.
“It is our experience of business that led to the birth of the Business Focus Shows.”
Andrew Masters, membership adviser of the Federation of Small Businesses, said: “There will be lots of speakers, lots of information and interesting stands to provide information to help people grow their own business.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone there.”
It is free to register online or you can pay £10 per person at the door.
