Specialist classes to support people recovering from heart problems have moved to Bourne.
The cardiac rehabilitation sessions that used to run at Stamford Hospital will now be held at The Centre @ Elsea Park.
The weekly sessions are led by specialist nurses and therapists. Part of Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, they provide a programme of exercise and education for adults on a range of topics after a heart attack, heart surgery or procedure.
The sessions support patients from across south Lincolnshire. Bill Robertson, from Market Deeping, joined after a heart attack and now volunteers. He said: “For me, the sessions were as much about regaining my confidence as the physical exercise.”
