Customers and staff at the Elsea Park Co-op in Bourne got into the spirit of Pancake Day by taking part in a pancake flipping competition.
The aim was to complete as many flips as possible in a minute, but some of the flips went a little awry, as store manager Jane Clare explained.
She said: “Some of the pancakes fell apart as they were being flipped and others ended up on the floor.
“Everyone had a good laugh, which is what it was all about.”

It was the first time the Co-op store, which opened in Bourne last June, has held such a competition, with some of those taking part managing to complete more than 60 flips in a minute.
The event was held throughout the day, with money raised to be donated to the Red Cross.
