Mark the Magician on stage

On Thursday, May 1, the PTFA was excited to welcome Mark’s Magic Kingdom to entertain the children.

Mark the Magician kept the sell-out crowd entertained for the entire performance, with some amazing tricks and very funny jokes! It was fun for the adults as well, and all the volunteers that appeared on the stage were treated to some close-up magic tricks and illusions.

The highlight of the evening was the appearance of Webster the duck, who was a firm favourite with adults and children alike. He had bought along some feathered and furry friends too for the big finale to the show which the children said was ‘awesome’!

The PTFA volunteers were on hand to provide refreshments for all, and the evening raised £150 for the Key Stage 1 playground fund. Thanks are extended to all who supported this PTFA event.

The PTFA would also like to draw to your attention our upcoming event; Bourne Abbey Summer Fayre and Bake Off – Saturday, June 7, 12.30pm - 3pm. Craft stalls, refreshments, tombolas, choir and dance displays, competitions, face-painting, raffle, games, circus skills, barbecue, inflatables and rides.
