More than 50 proud graduates paraded through the streets of Stamford on Tuesday after successfully completing their degree level courses at New College Stamford.

They attended a ceremony at All Saints’ Church to celebrate another year of fantastic results, with students graduating from various disciplines such as animal management, computing, graphic design and photography.

Delighted parents watched their children parade through the town before the Very Rev Mark Warrick welcomed the procession to the church to the sounds of the Audrey Mattis Chorale.

Guest Speaker Roger Begy, leader of Rutland County Council and former first chairman of Lincolnshire and Rutland Learning and Skills Council, commended the students on their achievements, recognising the years of hard work that had led them to this very day, inspiring them to keep learning and utilise their new skills and experiences in the working world.
