Thieves strike in Stamford, Bourne, Rippingale, Greatford and Dunsby

Police have appealed for witnesses after a series of thefts.

A home in Station Street, Rippingale, was burgled between Sunday and Friday last week. The thieves forced open a ground floor window and stole electrical goods and jewellery.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 452 of August 15.

A mini orange bicycle was stolen from outside a home in Queen’s Street, Stamford, between 5.15pm and 9pm on Wednesday last week. Incident 441 of August 13.

A white Nissan Navara pick-up truck was stolen from outside a home in Dunsby between midnight on Tuesday and 4am on Wednesday last week. The truck was found burned out in Graby later that day. Incident 71 of August 13.

Fuel was stolen from plant machinery on a building site at Elsea Park, off Raymond Mays Way in Bourne, at some point over the weekend. Incident 65 of August 18.

And a work compound was into on Stowe Road, Greatford, at some point this weekend. Thieves stole about 400l of diesel. Incident 59 of August 18.

Police are also hunting the vandal who damaged a vehicle in New Cross Road, Stamford, between 9pm on Saturday and 7.30am yesterday (Sunday). Incident 109 of August 177.

Vandals also damaged a plough on a farm off Raymond Mays Way, Bourne, over the weekend. Incident 84 of August 18. And two glass windows were smashed at St Andrew’s Church on High Street, Horbling, on Monday. Incident 118 of August 18.
