Mark property and deter thieves with police sessions around Bourne and Stamford

Police will hold a series of security marking events to protect property from thieves.

Free cycle marking sessions will take place in the Burghley Centre car park in Bourne from 10am until 4pm on Saturday.

They will then hold three sessions on April 26: at Billingborough police station from 9am until midday; outside Morton post office from 1pm until 4pm; and at Halfords in Ryhall Road, Stamford between 10am and 3pm.

Officers will mark catalytic converters at Hindmarch in Uffington Road, Stamford, between 2pm and 5pm on May 12 and 13, and again at the David Harby garage in Station Road, Little Bytham, on May 14.

The sessions are for 4x4s, people carriers and vans, but not f.

And officers will visit allotments in Stamford to give crime prevention advice and mark tools and equipment.

They will be in Uffington Road from 7pm to 9pm on May 7, Queens Walk from 3pm to 5pm on May 10, Water Furlong from 3pm to 5pm on May 11, and Priory Road from 1pm to 3pm on May 18.
