Chance to win £250 of art prizes

Children and adults are encouraged to enter an art competition for the chance of winning £250.

The Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery in Corby Glen, will be hosting the annual event from October 30 until October 26.

The competition has been hosted annually for the past forty years.

Anyone living in Lincolnshire or within 30 miles of Corby Glen can enter and use any medium such as: drawing, painting, collage and three dimensional work.

There are six classes including: Ages 5-7 with prizes of £10, £8, £5, 8-10 - £15, £10, £5, 11-14 - £20, £15, £10, 15-16 - £20, £15, £10, 17-18 - £25, £20, £15 and over 18’s.

The top prize is £250 and £100 for second place.

The competition is free to take part and entries can be sent to the gallery in Corby Glen.

Judges will include Christopher Owen and Mike Alabaster.

The entries will be on display at the gallery until November 21.
