Gather’N’Sew, based in Crown Walk, use the October event to raise funds for local charities.

Last year, £125 was raised for Bransby Horses. So far this year, £165 has been raised for Bourne charity Don’t Lose Hope by selling felt llamas made by customers.

This helped Sew Magazine award Gather’N’Sew as Best Charity Fundraiser- Sew Saturday 2019.

The prize included a bundle of sewing books which are being raffled to raise more money for Don’t Lose Hope.

Shop owner Leanne de Lima Araujulo called it an ‘incredible achievement’ to receive the nominations.
