UK's largest voucher code site community vote Argos as best store for saving money

The army of users from the UK’s most popular money saving voucher code website have voted Argos Number 1 for every day money saving deals for 2012.

Argos has been voted the number 1 high street and online retailer for offering money saving bargains by the millions of users signed up to the UK’s largest voucher code website, MyVoucherCodes.

The MyVoucherCodes community was initially asked to name the store that they felt offered the best and most useful deals and bargains throughout 2012 and from this list a shortlist was then drawn up.

The community was then asked to select their favourite from the shortlist and Argos came out number one.

The Argos section on MyVoucherCodes was also the most visited section of the entire site for the previous year.

The full Top 10 of the retailers that the MyVoucherCodes community voted for were:

The voting was run from 1 December 2012 to 15^th January 2013.

Speaking about the results, Mark Pearson, Chairman and Founder of MyVoucherCodes said,

“Argos has more than earned its number one position in our community’s hearts by consistently offering high quality money saving opportunities across the wide range of it products. Our community are probably the most money-savvy shoppers on the web, so their praise should not be taken lightly”.

He continued, “What is really interesting is that Comet came out in 11^th spot, which shows that there is still lots of love for the now defunct brand”.
