Youngsters lead the way in medal haul

Bourne Town Harries Daniel Lawrence, William Hawkins, Aaron Hunt

BOURNE Town Harriers’ U11s were the stars of the team that competed in the Lincolnshire League Cross Country County Championships at Louth on Sunday.

The young athletes led the way, bringing home all of Bourne’s medals.

Aaron Hunt and Keeley Caven both won bronze and the trio of Aaron, William Hawkins and Daniel Lawrence claimed a team silver medal. Toby Everist also ran well in the U11s race.

Phil Galpin and Rob Caven ran in the seniors race, while Claire Steels was fifth senior lady home in her race.

Saskia Hunt and Molly Bennett completed the U13 girls race and rounding the team off was Joe Howells in the U17 men’s race.

The Harriers travel to March this week for a full Frostbite fixture.
