Stamford under-10s took on three teams from Sleaford at Hambleton Road last weekend.

Stamford As, who had been unbeaten at home all season started the day with a 4-0 win. Sam Calvert’s try came after a sustained Stamford attack had worn down Sleaford’s defences.

The next try came from Ewan Criddle after Ciaran Dolby had ripped the ball from the ruck near the line. Tom Chesworth and Jonny Le Voi also scored.

Stamford Bs faced a more determined Sleaford team and came away with a hard fought win. George Johnstone ran the ball all the way from his own half to score a try and Sam Hughes came away with three tries. Cody Roe also scored as Stamford won 6-4.

Stamford C team were beaten 3-0.
