At Greetham Valley the Gents Winter League takes place over the winter months in the form of pairs matchplay golf.
With four leagues of ten teams each team plays all others with the top two pairs in each league progressing to the quarter finals.

Harry Sargood and Tom McGrath, having also lost in the first week, scored a solid 5&3 victory over Fraser Denholm and John Sparks while the other big win of the day went to Dave Copley and Tony Mould, who were also losers in the first week, who won 5 &4 against Bob Scrafton and Ted Burke.

The Early Birds decided that they would donate all their various competition winnings in November towards the charity and so far have raised in excess of £150.
l At the weekend, over 80 seniors, partners and guests attended the annual Seniors Dinner.
Having been provided with more than sufficient food and wine during an excellent dinner, outgoing Seniors captain Peter Wood entertained everybody with a speech interspersed with 60s and 70s style musical inserts which summarised his year,
