It’s semi-finals night in the Stamford Knockout Shield this evening (Monday) and Nassington Knights are still on course to win a hat=trick of Twenty/20 titles this summer.

Peterborough-based King’s Keys are out to try and achieve one of the Twenty/20 shocks of the season away Nassington.

Keys play their cricket in Hunts Division Three and Rutland Division Two so will be big underdogs against a Nassington side who lost for the first time in 10 Twenty/20 matches this summer in the Rutland semi-final yesterday (Sunday).

But King’s Keys claimed a big scalp in their quarter-final when sneaking past Burghley Park and Nassington will be without main men Dan Robinson, who is away on duty with Cambridgeshire in the Minor Counties action, and Ryan Duffy who is on holiday.

Ketton will also be without their star man Ben Bryant because of Minor Counties commitments when they travel to Outgang Road for their semi-final against Market Deeping.

Nassington and Market Deeping meet in the Jaidka Cup Final at Barnack on Wednesday (June 24, 6pm).

Nassington also take on Uppingham in the Stamford Charity Cup Final at Stamford Town CC next Monday (June 29, 6pm).
