To complete his hat-trick of wins, John Fursdon topped the leader board in the Sunday Medal Division One, with a high score for him of net 74.

Closely following behind was Keith Bellamy on 75, off 15, beating David Baxter, off 18, on count back.

The club have been very successful in the first two rounds of the Mail on Sunday’ trophy.

In the first round there was a winning margin of four and half to a half against Priors Hall at home.

Peter Barker won 5 & 4, Gordon Knox won 5 & 4, Don Lambert won 2 & 1, John Fursdon won 7 & 6, and Graham Ball halved his match.

In the second round, the same winning margin was achieved at home to Scraptoft, but no scores were at hand at the time of going to press.
