Strong from the first whistle

STRAIGHT from the kick off Bourne took the game to Boston in this impressive 15-5 victory.

Cameron Patterson's jinked his way to the Boston line before being tackled just short and Angus Foottit wrestled the ball from the opposing player to score from close range.

Jack Lewis then used his strength and determination to force his way over for another try.

Bourne's defensive effort was resolute, however just before half-time Boston managed to score from close range.

In the second half Boston had a lot of possession, but Bourne held out with some excellent tackles from Dan Cheek.

Near the end Bourne's guest player Joe scored a very good long distance try to seal the win.

Bourne: Angus Foottit, Jack Lewis, Henry Legge, Dan Cheek, Andrew Martin, Cameron Patterson, Sebastian Mitchell.
