Bourne Town Harriers junior team

BOURNE Town Harriers raced in round four of the Frostbite League, held at March on Sunday.

On a frosty but muddy course, the juniors were lead home by Joe Howells in seventh. Then came the trio of Aaron Hunt, Andy Noble and Oliver Smith in 41st, 42nd and 43rd with Saskia Hunt in 69th completing the team scorers.

Also finishing were Cameron Everist, Toby Everist, Molly Bennett, Daniel Lawrence, Leah Clarke, Beth Howells, Ffion Simpson and Evie Smith.

Joe and Saskia lead the boys and girls junior series after seven rounds.

The senior team were lead in by Mark Thorogood with another fine performance to finish 26th. He was followed by Rich Lomas-Brown and Tony Gilbert neck and neck in 48th and 49th. Other seniors were Tony Yoxall, Brian McLean, Charlie Noble, Dave Grace, newcomer Keith Evans, Louise Swallow, Penny Lamb, Peter Swallow, Phil Lengthorn, Richard Pearson and Sarah Conway.

Rich & Penny lead the senior mens and ladies club series after nine rounds.

Bourne host the next frostbite race on February 5 at Bourne Wood.
