Wakes return home is snowed off

BOURNE’s first home league fixture in more than a month was snowed on Saturday.

The wakes, unbeaten in 2012, had been due to take on Buckingham Town at the Abbey Lawn.

Their next game in a Lincolnshire Senior Trophy Semi-final tie against Holbeach Town, planned for Wednesday evening.

Deeping Rangers’ trip to Daventry United was also hit by the weather on Saturday.

Rangers are due to travel to Boston Town for a league fixture tomorrow evening however, with cold weather forecast to last throughout the week fans are advised to check before travelling to either game.
