Last week Blackstones lost their manager Nick Andersen, who left after losing patience with the commitment of some of his players, and this week they have lost their best player.
Star striker Adam Scotcher has joined higher division Deeping Rangers.
The UCL Premier Division side beat Peterborough Sports and Huntingdon Town to the striker’s signature on Friday.
Scotcher has had a strong year with Stones and the UCL Division One leading scorer recently picked up the Chromasport goalscorer of the month award for September.
Without him Blackstones lost 2-1 away at Woodford United on Saturday while Scotcher was named on the bench for Deeping’s match with Huntingdon Town.
The game was abandoned because of torrential rain.
Earlier in the season Deeping poached Bourne Town’s leading goal-scorer Jezz Goldson-Williams to boost their fire power up front.
