Second spot is Rangers’ target
Deeping Rangers could move up to second in the United Counties League Premier Division when they take on third-placed St Ives at Outgang Road tomorrow.
Rangers sit fifth, just one point behind the trio of St Ives, Quorn and Spalding United but they will fancy their chances of taking points tomorrow.
Rangers drew 1-1 at St Ives earlier in the season with a goal from David Burton Jones but Tuncay Korkmaz’ side will also require results to go their way elsewhere with Spalding having a tough trip to Newport Pagnell and Quorn travelling to Sleaford.
Rangers’ match at Cogenhoe was postponed last Saturday.
Tomorrow’s fixture is due to kick off at 3pm.
