There is a cracking night of local football on the cards this evening (October 13).
Deeping Rangers have got a stern test in the UCL Premier Division when they take on second in the league Yaxley at the Haydon Whitham Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.
Rangers are 11th in the league but have played five games less than Yaxley.
Deeping have lost three of their last four games, but those loses have all come in different cup competitions.
With their focus now back on the league Deeping will look to build on their 3-0 win over Cogenhoe United on Saturday.
There is a spicy tie at the Abbey Lawn taking place at the same time as UCL Division One rivals Bourne Town and Blackstones go head-to-head in the quarter-final of the Lincolnshire County Senior Trophy.
Both sides have shown great improved form this season, with Bourne dispatching Oakham United to a 5-0 defeat last week, and Blackstones have won four of their last five, including a 2-1 win away at Lutterworth Athletic on Saturday.
In the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division Cottesmore Amateurs have a tough night ahead of them as they take on top of the league Birstall United.
