Lights go out on semi-final tie

FLOODLIGHT failure brought an early end to Bourne’s Lincolnshire Senior Trophy semi-final against Holbeach United yesterday evening.

The game was goalless after 36 minutes when the power went off forcing the game to be abandoned.

Wakes secretary Bob Lambert assured the problem was fixed today and that Saturday’s match against Buckingham Town will go ahead as planned.

The Holbeach tie has been rearranged for Wednesday, February 8.
