Stamford AFC’s outstanding keeper last season Alex Lynch has joined League Two side Wycombe Wanderers on a two-year deal.
Lynch spent the season with Stamford on loan from League One side Peterborough United.
Despite the 19-year-old playing for Wales at under-19 level he never made an appearance for Posh first team.
The teenager caught the eye while playing for Stamford and has moved to Adams Park on a free transder to develop his career under goal keeping coach Barry Richardson, with whom he worked at Peterborough
Richardson told the Wycombe Wonders website: “I’ve known Alex since he was a 16-year-old and I’m really pleased to be working with him again.
“He is another young keeper to add to the two we already have, and he has played for his country, so he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”
Last month Stamford announced the signing of goal keeper Andy Stevens who played for the club during their successful FA Cup fun last season.
While at Stamford Lynch shared the keeping duties with Will Jones.
