Deeping Rangers are celebrating after reaching the final of the League Knockout Cup after a 5-0 hammering of Wellingborough Town at the Dog and Duck last night (Tuesday).

A Ryan Oliver hat-trick and a brace from Matt Heron earned Rangers a final berth against either Huntingdon Town or Boston Town who play on April 16.

Also last night Deeping’s UCL Premier Division rivals Spalding United were crowned champions without even playing.

The Tulips won the league when Huntingdon Town, who were mathematically the only team who could have finished above them, lost 2-1 at Cogenhoe United.
