The Wakes will once again play in the UCL Division One next season after their application to stay in the league was officially accepted at the weekend.

Bourne Town had to reapply for a place in the league after finishing in the bottom two at the end of the regular season.

However even the league’s bottom club Woodford, who had one of the worst seasons imaginable, winning just one game in 42 league games with no draws, have retained their place in the UCL.

The UCL Division One for the 2014/15 season will consist of 20 teams, two fewer than this year’s competition.

Champions Oadby Town, runners-up Eynesbry Rovers and third place Harrowby United have been promoted to the UCL Premier, however just one team - UCL Premier bottom side Stewarts and Lloyds Corby have been demoted into Division One.

No one has been promoted from the PDFL Premier.

The teams to compete the UCL Division One next season are:

Blackstones

Bourne Town

Buckingham Town

Bugbrooke St Michaels

Burton Park Wanderers

Olney Town

Peterborough Sports
