Enderwick lads set up big win

MORTON travelled to CK Dons looking to return to winning ways after the previous week's loss to top of the table Broadway Grange.

Morton started the brightly and were soon in the ascendancy as a drilled shot by Luke Enderwick found the corner of the net. Morton pinned their hosts back and a second goal by Luke Enderwick reflected their dominance.

Enderwick completed his hat-trick inside the first 25 minutes with a wonderful lob.

Morton's advantage was further strengthened, when a lovely team move sent Luke Enderwick away who unselfishly squared the ball for his brother Scott to tap in.

Morton were playing some fantastic football, using the ball well.

CK Dons pulled a goal back within the first five minutes of the second half but Matthew Dodson, with a a long range curler, restored Morton's three-goal advanatge.

Dons again pulled a goal back, slamming a free kick past Ward but Luke Enderwick with his fourth and a Luke Smith free-kick that went off the bar and keeper ensured an emphatic win for Morton, who host Caythorpe on Saturday at Haconby Lane.
