BOURNE TOWN 0
EYNESBURY ROVERS 2
(Favell 1, Bellamy 86)
TWO former Bourne Town players were on target as Neil Thorpe's season went from bad to worse.

Ashley Favell and Brett Bellamy helped First Division Eynesbury Rovers dump the Wakes out of the League Cup – and condemn them to a sixth straight defeat.

Bourne had good penalty shouts waved away when striker Scott Spearink appeared to be hauled down and Stuart King was tripped.

Player/boss Thorpe said: "I felt we were 100 per cent dominant throughout the game, but lacked that killer instinct up front.

"Confidence is a little low at the moment and a lot needs to be done if we are to turn things around.

"I am aware of what needs to be done and changes will be made."

The usually flawless keeper Aaron Bellairs gift-wrapped a first-minute opener to Flavell.

And Bellamy completed the scoring four minutes from time with a sweet strike.

Wakes: Bellairs, Harper, Ridout, Brookes, Broome, Currall, Cook, King, Toyne, Harrison, Spearink. Subs O Smith, McDonnell, Schiavi, Lambley, Hume.
