The Blues were looking for revenge against a team who beat them twice last year.
The first half was a story of missed chances and the Blues were only one up at half time, thanks to Joe Thompson, who fired home from close range.

Glinton made it difficult but piled on the pressure in the second half and it was soon four, with goals from Daniel Miller, George Burke and Aaron Fleet.

The Blues could have added more but for the Glinton keeper.

Samuel Payne whizzed one passed the post with minutes left after an excellent clearance by Dominic Townsend, whilst Scott Buxton, in goal, used his goal kicks intelligently.

Blues made in four wins out of four but now face, the only other team with a 100% record, Rippingale, who have not lost a league game for two years.
