Jubilee Bourne 7 Pointon 1
Jubilee Bourne set up a mouth-watering Red Lion Cup final against Bourne Reserves tonight (Friday, 7.45pm) with this win on Tuesday.

Goals from Aaron Jesson (4), Josh Cattermole (2) and Phil Smith saw them through.

They took just two minutes to
get in front, Jesson racing clear to slot the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

It was soon 2-0 when Cattermole got on the end of a Gray cross to turn and finish with ease. The third goal was similar to the second with Jesson crossing for Cattermole to score his second of the game.

Jubilee were 3-0 up at half time after playing some really good football – but the score could have been very different with O'Loughlin and Ward having to clear off the goalline.

Scoring two quick goals early on in the second half through Jesson and Smith killed the game off and ensured a positive outcome for Jubilee.

Jesson then scored twice either side of the only Pointon goal, a stunning left foot 25-yarder from a central midfielder.

The game was played in good spirit, helping stand-in referee Jason Rouse who commanded things well.

Jubilee Bourne will become Red Lion next season.

A kit will be presented by their new sponsor before tonight's final.
