TUNCAY Korkmaz hopes his rested Deeping Rangers squad can deliver the goods in the Hinchingbrooke Cup final on Monday (7.45pm).
They face Blackstones in a mouth-watering showdown, albeit not in the most glamorous competition.

The Stamford side will be keen to get one over on Deeping, who have beaten them twice in the league this season.

Korkmaz gave his squad nine days off after the semi-final win over Potton United. Training resumed last night.

Defender Scott Woods and leading goalscorer Danny Matson are available for selection in this competition, despite league suspensions.

Korkmaz said: "Everyone is available and we're looking forward to it. Winning it will mean getting something out of an otherwise average season for us."

The player/boss is disappointed that the venue for the final is at Huntingdon Town. Not only is it a 30-mile trip for fans to get behind the team, but the facilities are not the best.

Korkmaz said: "It's a pity about the venue, but it's the same for both sides."
