Arran Shrosbree's trip to Germany last weekend with the GB team for the European BMX Championship was a great experience.
With a fourth place finish and two fifths, the 16-year-old Robert Manning College student did not qualify for the knockout stage.

But Arran was philosophical and said: "It's all good experience!"

The GB coach was pleased with the team's riding but the outcome was an indication that the country needs to step up another level to compete.
