There is so much happening in the Bourne area – and we can offer groups and individuals the opportunity to reach more people.
We can help you get more support from members of the public and improve awareness of your work, activities or fund-raising efforts.
And, what’s more, it’s free.
The Local reaches thousands of people every week through our website and our paper.
If you’ve not seen our website before, take a look at www.bournelocal.co.uk.
The website attracts different people each week. There is a section for community news and this is the area we want to expand to bring more positive, good news stories to our readers.
To get your stories publicised in The Local, all you have to do is e-mail a picture (ideally a JPEG) and accompanying story of around 200 words to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also tweet us at @thebournelocal.
We will publish the picture and story on our website and the best will then also be published in the paper.
Many of you have your own group websites – if you do, make sure you include your web address so we can link the story to your website.
If you’ve got any questions, please let us know by calling The Local newsdesk on 01780 758951.
We look forward to reading all your news, and sharing it.
