Bourne Footlights has conferred Honorary Life Membership to Christine Ayliff in recognition of the support she has given to the society over many years.

Christine is usually to be found backstage during production week helping with costume changes and props and providing cake, scones and blackberry vinegar to a grateful cast and crew. She has been an invaluable help with catering when supper has been provided to the audience, quietly and efficiently organising food, plates and the team.

With a wonderful sense of humour and many an anecdote to be told, Christine is a treasure.

Footlights Chairman, Ian Gibbs, presented Christine with a Certificate and flowers at the dress rehearsal of their recent production ‘Murdered to Death’.

‘Murdered to Death’ was performed from November 13th– 15th to packed audiences at the Corn Exchange in Bourne. Laughter throughout each evening and the smiles on the faces of the audience as they left was testament to a great performance by each and every member of the cast.
