On Tuesday, September 30 at an evening meeting at the Wishing Well Inn, Dyke the Rotary Club celebrated three Rotarians’ lives and
careers.

The evening is called a Focus Interview and is a bit like This Is Your Life but without Eamonn
Andrews.

The main subject was the current President of the Club, Frank Lofthouse who spent many years as a rally navigator with suitable tales for those present.

Two of the members have reached 40 years service with Rotary. Rotarian Peter Rowland joined in 1971 and has been a member of Peterborough, Sleaford and Bourne.

He has been president of both Sleaford and Bourne.

Rotarian Graham Chapman joined in 1970 and is a founder member of the Rotary Club of
Swaffham.

He was president in 1972 before moving to Bourne in 1976 where he also served as president.

The club presented certificates of achievement to Peter and Graham as well as a letter of appreciation from Rotary International President Gary
Huang.
