A residents’ comfort fund has been boosted by £500 after a Christmas coffee morning.
The event was held at The Cedars Nursing Home in Bourne on Saturday and was supported by residents, staff, families and visitors.
There was a tombola, raffle and craft stalls to enjoy and matron Helen Brewster said there was a “lovely Christmas atmosphere”.
She said: “We had a fun-filled event, which was very well supported by the residents, relatives, staff and visitors to the home.
“We raised a very good amount of money, which will be put into the residents’ comfort fund for the benefit of everyone here.
“It was fantastic to see so many people supporting us.
“This has been a lovely start to the festive season.”
She said everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.
