A non-political event to discuss both sides of the EU referendum argument is to be held in Stamford next month.
Robert van de Weyer, a former economics lecturer at the University of Cambridge, will give an unbiased appraisal of the facts and will then take questions from the audience.
The event is being held in the hall at Stamford Free Church, in Kesteven Road, between 2.30pm and 4pm on Saturday, June 11.
George Woolf, chairman of the trustees at Stamford Free Church, said: “Many people are still struggling to come to a conclusion on the way to vote in the referendum on June 23 and it is far from an easy decision, particularly as we hear many comments that are clearly politically skewed.
“The aim of this event is to find out the facts of the situation and is not at all politcial.”
Mr van de Meyer is a regular visitor to Stamford Free Church.
The event is free and open to all.
