Talks on the future of a funfair will be held this summer.
Roger Tuby and Son Funfairs was forced to abandon its usual October visit to Bourne last year due to building work at Wherry’s Mill.
The fair is usually held in the car park next to Wherry’s Mill. But some of that space disappeared during a multi-million refurbishment project by South Kesteven District Council.
Mr Tuby said he had not been to Bourne since October. But he aims to speak to council officers when his firm takes part in Bourne Festival in June.
He added: “Our intentions are to come in October as we always have done for 40-odd years.”
Mr Tuby said if the usual site wasn’t available he would have to look for a new location with hard standing.
