children have won vouchers after naming a new housing development.
Bourne Abbey Primary Academy pupils Bethany Mason, Nayana Thompson, Joel Wellard and Reegan Martin were rewarded for their idea of naming the development in Manning Road, the Abbeyfields.
Larkfleet Homes, which is building 108 homes at the former Co-operative site, ran the competition for the children to name the development.
Sales director Jason Colmer said: “Abbeyfields will offer high quality living in an excellent location.
“I was delighted with the naming competition entries put forward by pupils from Bourne Abbey Academy and would like to congratulate all the pupils who took part.”
The development will have a range of two and three bedroom properties including 33 affordable homes. Work will start in March.
Some of the properties on the Abbeyfields development will be available through the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme and Larkfleet is also offering its own schemes to help buyers get on the ladder.
