Police inspector to address public at Bourne and District Neighbourhood Watch Meeting

Bourne’s police inspector Mike Burnett, who is the senior officer responsible for policing the area, will talk to the public at a meeting of the Bourne and District Neighbourhood Watch Association.

Recently, the Lincolnshire Police Authority announced a revision of policies and structures that have been hailed as a major step towards improved policing. Inspector Burnett will be describing how these changes will manifest themselves in the community.

Inspector Burnett will also take questions from the floor.

The meeting will be held at Bourne Fire Station in South Street at 7.30pm on February 5. It is open to everyone. People thinking about creating a Neighbourhood Watch group or who just want to learn more are encouraged to attend.
