Plans afoot for Bourne’s 2013 Classic Car and Bike Show

Plans are well underway for the 2013 Classic Car and Bike Show in Bourne after the stunning success of the event last year.

The event will once again take place on the Wellhead in Bourne on Sunday, June 9. It was moved across the park last year after flooding and will remain in its new location, near St Peter’s Pool.

Invitations are currently being sent out to last year’s entrants and new entrants are being encouraged to enter their vehicles registered in 1993 or earlier or race cars of any age. Visitors will be able to view the show for free.

Bourne’s Heritage Museum will be open throughout the day, and the show will close with the judging of vehicles, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast, which in the past has proved to be a popular part of the afternoon.
